Rebecca Benjamin

Behavior Therapist

Mrs. Rebecca Benjamin joined the Behavioral Consulting Team in June of 2007. As a young adult, she cared for a child with autism which prompted her interest in the field. Rebecca attended college at the State University of New York's Crane School of Music, where she majored in vocal performance. After attending college, she worked as a nanny caring for children in the Tampa Bay area. From 2002 to 2007, Rebecca worked as a Deputy Sheriff for Manatee County where she dealt with many different kinds of children and adults with varying disabilities and mental disorders. She also attended a variety of workshops and trainings for people with mental disorders and problem behavior. Rebecca plans to continue her education in ABA and become a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst.
